MINIMALISM – What will your 2025 be like?

What are your plans for 2025? If they are to minimize the number of things, change your lifestyle and start living more consciously, I have several videos about declutter, minimalism and slow living on my blog www.marysdeclutterlife.com. To be honest, you never finish decluttering. There are always new things and people coming into one's life. There will therefore always be both things and people that we need to declutter from our lives. When you have done this for a longer period of time and feel more satisfied with life, you can consider whether you want to become a minimalist. It's not just about owning a few things, although that's a big part of minimalism. It is also about living more consciously and choosing more environmentally friendly options and taking care of the planet we live on. Most of all, which many people may forget, it's about taking care of ourselves too. We live in an extremely stressful time when we are usually always connected and must also be connected to our jobs, employers, friends and acquaintances. If you don't answer the phone right away, there are always people who get mad at you because you weren't quick enough. But life shouldn't be about living life fast. It should be about living life consciously and having time to live, not just produce. So I ask the question again: what are your plans for 2025?

If you want to know mine, this is the first time I’m standing in December and not sure what my plans are for 2025. Or they’re about not wanting to put into words what I feel I need to do but maybe don’t really want to do.
If I look at the list of what I need to do, it is to catch up on what I didn’t do this year. For example, to declutter my hard drive. Absolutely not vital so really I can tell myself I don’t need to do but I don’t know if I can have peace of mind if it doesn’t get done. Of course, I have other things too, but let’s look at what I really want to do, it is to have peace of mind, to be able to take it easy, to be able to breathe properly and to have time for all the things I love to do. Make time to just sit and do nothing and make time for long walks in the woods.

Who can make sure we have time to do what we really love to do?
It’s actually quite obvious. We are the only ones who can change our life, no one else can do it for us and we can’t do it for them either. It comes from ourselves. So maybe it is time to set a single clear goal for the year 2025 and that is: I will change myself and my life so that it goes in the direction I want and towards who I want to be.
